Every journey in life has a beginning. For every member of our church, there is a unique story of how God led them into His fold. While some were born into the Church, others were introduced through family members, invited by friends, reached through evangelism, or drawn by the divine leading of the Holy Spirit. Regardless of the path, every journey reflects God’s purpose and plan for His children.
One of such inspiring testimonies is that of Prophet Ademusire, the Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ Akoka Cathedral, Lagos State, who recently shared the remarkable story of how he became a member of Celestial Church of Christ.
According to Prophet Ademusire, he was neither born into the church nor raised within its fold. His introduction to the Church came through the invitation of a friend who encouraged him to attend a church programme.
Sharing his testimony, he said: “Ordinarily, I never plan to be a member of Celestial Church of Christ, neither was I born into the Church. It was through a friend that I was invited to attend a church programme. When I honoured the invitation, the Holy Spirit took charge of my life. From that moment, I became committed to the Church and dedicated myself to its growth. Throughout that period, I could clearly hear God speaking to me. Everything about my life changed, and that marked the beginning of my journey as a Celestial member.”
His testimony is another reminder that God has different ways of calling His people into His kingdom. Sometimes, a simple invitation from a friend becomes the instrument through which destinies are transformed and lives are redirected towards divine purpose.
Since becoming a member of Celestial Church of Christ, Prophet Ademusire has remained steadfast in his commitment to the growth and development of the Church. Through years of faithful service, he has distinguished himself as a dedicated servant of God and a passionate leader.
Following the passing of the late Shepherd, Sup/Evang Erinle, Prophet Ademusire assumed the leadership of CCC Akoka Cathedral, Lagos State where he has continued to uphold the spiritual heritage of the parish with humility, wisdom, and unwavering dedication.
Renowned for his sound teachings, prophetic grace, and spiritual guidance, Prophet Ademusire has become a source of inspiration to many members of the Church. His commitment to nurturing souls and strengthening the faith of believers has earned him the admiration and respect of both his parishioners and fellow ministers.
Beyond his pastoral responsibilities, Prophet Ademusire shares a long-standing friendship with Venerable Superior Evangelist Festus Otele, the Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ Providence Parish, Rhode Island, United States of America. Both ministers have maintained a close relationship over the years, having been pioneer members of CCC Akoka Cathedral, Lagos State. Their enduring friendship continues to serve as a shining example of unity, brotherhood, and commitment to the advancement of God’s kingdom.
His journey stands as a testimony that when God has a purpose for an individual, He orchestrates every step, using ordinary moments to accomplish extraordinary destinies.
