In an effort to clear up any misinformation and set the record straight once and for all, the Chairman of the Church Taskforce has publicly addressed the rumors circulating on social media regarding accusations of fund collections on behalf of the Taskforce.
Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Adjovi stated that it was crucial for his office to correct any negative stereotypes that had been spread by an individual on Facebook. This individual falsely claimed that the Taskforce had received a sum of #500,000 from a particular shepherd in Ibadan, Oyo State. The Chairman vehemently denied these claims, labeling them as untrue, erroneous and lacking any factual basis. He made it clear that he had never authorized anyone to negotiate on behalf of the Taskforce or to solicit funds from the Church congregation.
He enthusiastically confirmed that the Taskforce committee has a clear mandate to uphold the evangelization purpose of the Church, educate members on the tenets and doctrinal practices and correct any wrongdoing that goes against the principles of Celestial Church of Christ.
A/M/S/E Adjovi passionately explained that members of the Church should not entertain any rumors from any source, but instead, they should wholeheartedly support the committee by actively practicing the Church’s basic ordinances as instructed by the Founder, Rev. Prophet SBJ Oshoffa.
In conclusion, he emphasized that His Eminence Rev. Emmanuel Mobiniya Friday Oshoffa has made the Taskforce Committee effective through his dedication to addressing issues raised by the committee. He urged members to stay on the right path in reshaping the narrative of Celestial Church of Christ.
