COURT RECESS TILL 4th OF JULY 2023.
The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi Lagos hearing the suit case between the Pastor & the registered BOT had adjourned the sitting till 4th of July 2023 due to the constant appeal from the legal team of the Pastor led by Sup Evang Obafemi (SAN).
During the hearing of the case today; the Judge further advised the Church to employ all available opportunities to settle the dispute in the best interest of the Church. The lead team (Sup/Evang Obafemi) who is also the secretary of the new BOT pleaded with the Judge to allow his team for further consultation to settle the matter amicably.
However; the legal team of Baba Banjo’s maintained that Former President Oluwasegun Obasanjo, Justice Ajakaye (Rtd) and Nayeju has tried to resolve the matter but without any positive outcome while Judges Peter Ifitu said parties should go and resolve their difference failure to do so will result to final verdict of the Court.
We pray that God intervene for the betterment of the Church.
