V/S/E Alfred Ebenezer Jackson is facing the possibility of being asked to leave his position at the Ife Regional Head. The crisis at the Ife Regional headquarters has brought to light numerous issues that have been created by V/S/E Jackson himself. The actions of the Parish have made it clear that they believe V/S/E Jackson is unfit and lacks the ability to resolve conflicts in order to effectively manage the Ife Regional Headquarters.
The Youth of the Parish have taken a leading role in addressing the situation, demanding that V/S/E Jackson step down from his position. They have also requested that the Mother Celestial and other Elders vacate their sitting positions until the matter can be resolved peacefully. An investigation into the situation has revealed that V/S/E Jackson has failed to create a welcoming and Christian-friendly atmosphere since taking on his role. He has neglected to meet with the Elders of the Parish or involve the Parochial Committee in decision-making processes, distancing himself from the Parishioners he is meant to lead.
It has been alleged that V/S/E Jackson publicly abused the Elders, claiming that his car boot contained a stockpile of canes for those who did not comply with his decisions. The Parish advised V/S/E Jackson to live with his family and attend Parochial Committee meetings to prevent miscommunication. However, V/S/E Jackson rejected these suggestions, refusing to live with his wife and citing her profession as a medical doctor for not traveling with him.
Furthermore, it was discovered that during the harvest period, V/S/E Jackson brought a woman into the Parish premises who was not the same woman he had introduced to the Parish when he first became their Shepherd. This situation has exposed the Shepherd’s pride and ego, as he has been addressing the members in an unprofessional manner and creating a negative atmosphere within the Parish, with V/S/E Jackson dressed up a cross with the Pastor Founder cloth as a symbol that late Rev SBJ Oshoffa is spiritual presence.
The Elders presented their case to the Pastor’s Office, as some previous letter had been disregarded. Another letter was sent to the Pastor, but a meeting with the Elders could not be scheduled in a timely manner. It was reported that the Parochial Chairman, Secretary, and one Elder went to the Pastor’s house for a meeting without the consent of the general congregation.
Currently, it has been communicated that the Pastor will reschedule a meeting with the Elders of the Ife region in the coming days. However, tensions remain high as V/S/E Jackson apartment and door are locked, and the Parish has sent money to the Shepherd to prepare for moving his belongings.
The situation in Ife Region is complex and requires careful handling to ensure a resolution that is satisfactory to all parties involved. It is clear that there are significant issues that need to be addressed in order to restore harmony and effective leadership within the Ife Regional Headquarters.
